Our first showing of the 2004 season was at Troy Funfest. It went very well placing 7th in the Pork Ribs Catagory. We made the final table in the Chicken and Brisket events. Looks like we are finally starting to figure this whole thing out.
Bruceville-Eddy Mayfest, May 7th and 8th. So much for having it figured out. We did not do well at all. Lots of competition and most were very good cooks. Congrats to Michael Koenig for placing 3rd on Ribs.
Penelope June 4th and 5th. We actually had a bit of success on this one placing 10th with our pinto beans. We had lots visitors, and everyone had a great time. Thanks Sandy and David Rochelle for all you did and for the use of your Motor Home
Texas All-Star Cook-off July 30th and 31st. Wow !!! We had a lot of great cooks in this one. We did not do too well but then again look at the competition!!! Thanks to all who stopped by to visit and congrats to Linda and Dennis Kolar. Both did very well. Dennis and Cody did an excellent job of putting this thing together. We look forward to next year.
